About us

Our history

1960

The establishment

After a few years as a partner of leading companies in the borosilicate glass sector - Sovirel (PYREX®), Corning Glass (QVF) and Boris K (Schott DURAN) - Luigi Biancardi founded I.T.I.V., an acronym for the Italian equivalent of “Technical Industrial Glass Plants”, for the production of glassware for the chemical and pharmaceuticals industries
'80

The development

Following development of its own borosilicate glass standard, the joining of his son, Massimo, shifted the company focus to engineering and plant engineering for the design and production of pilot plants.
2000

A new generation

Eng. Massimo Biancardi took over the company and founded I.T.I.V. Technology, with the aim of consolidating the path of technical engineering design of plants and expanding the production of equipment - mechanical seals, valves, pumps - on ITIV’s standard.
2008

Partnership

A partnership is initiated with Giscoglass, a company specializing in the production of glass-lined steel piping and components with 30 years' experience, in which Eng. Massimo Biancardi assumes the role of sole director.
2010

The evolution

As a result of the skills acquired in steel processing, the company's own design and production of complete industrial plants developed significantly, and it gained further momentum from the entry into the company of the children and, later, the nephew.
2017

Corporate restructuring

In the perspective of corporate restructuring and resource rationalization, the internal glassblowing division is spun off and entrusted to a new joint venture company, Blownglass Technology, marking the beginning of a strategic partnership..
2020

The present

In order to face the increase in business, an expansion of the sales department and technical offices is implemented to offer more attentive design, support, consulting and certification services, and higher quality standards.
Where we work

Markets in which we operate

We have always had, since the beginning of our activity, a strong attitude and a marked orientation towards the major international markets that recognize, appreciate and search for those distinctive characteristics and values of Made in Italy of which Italian SMEs have always represented the beating heart.

This attitude has allowed us, also thanks to a network of agents and collaborators, to reach a vast international and to compare ourselves with leading realities within the global production panorama.
