Agitators with TAM-TAMS seal

Agitation units with mechanical seals for glass, metallic, and glass-lined reactors.

The TAM series includes agitation systems, also ATEX compliant, with a single mechanical seal for low-pressure operation in silicon carbide and PFTE for glass reactors, and systems with double mechanical seal with the same composition for metallic reactors to allow pressurization above 0.5 bar in PED execution reactors.

The TAMS series is particularly dedicated to glass-lined reactors and generally involves a double mechanical seal depending on the pressure for the R10-20-30 series, and a double opposed cartridge seal for the AE63-100-160 and AE250-400 reactor series built according to DIN 28136; the expected diameters in the shaft section range from DN 25-40-50 mm or different diameters in special executions.

The TAM and TAMS seals can be equipped with temperature transmitters and stainless-steel flushing barrels with a coil for cooling the pressurizing liquid. The shafts can be made of PTFE-coated stainless-steel, glass-lined steel, stainless-steel, or Hastelloy, and offer a wide selection of available impellers.

    • -1 ÷ +40 bar (TAM-TAMS double seal model)

    • -25 ÷ +135°C Atex T4 (flushed seal TAM and TAMS model)
    • -80 ÷ +200°C Atex T3 (flushed and cooled seal)
  • Shaft diameter:
    • 25 / 30 / 45 mm (TAM model)
    • 25 / 30 / 60 / 80 mm (TAMS model)
  • Reactor nozzle:
    • DN25 ÷ 80 (mod. TAM)
    • DN50 ÷ 100 (mod. TAMS)
  • Motors:
    • 4 poles 0.37 ÷ 0.55 kW (TAM-TAMS 25 model)
    • 4 poles 0.75 ÷ 1.5 kW (TAM-TAMS 40-50 model)
