Laboratory plants

Units for installation under a hood in borosilicate glass or metallic materials for laboratory use.

Laboratory plants in borosilicate glass 3.3, with volumes ranging from 0.5 to 5 litres, available in standard configuration or customizable according to process needs with additional probes and instrumentation; custom-designed components are also available in materials other than glass.

Standard units consist of a reactor with a jacket for temperature control, stirring assembly, vapor rise line with reflux head and coil condenser, hydraulic guard, and receiving flask, equipped with flexible connections with GL, tri-clamp, or standardized cone fittings and various instruments such as temperature transmitters, pressure switches, rupture discs, flanged and precision needle valves, pH, and temperature regulation.

All plants come with a CE declaration of conformity and can be built in compliance with ATEX regulations with suitable motors, probes, and instrumentation, accompanied by appropriate certification for use in potentially explosive atmospheres.

Typical system

We build Laboratory plants starting from the customer's needs and requirements, taking care of the project development from the drafting of the P&ID, to the design of the individual components and also providing 3D drawings of the plant on request, which can be useful in case of under-hood or glove box integration.

An example of a typical laboratory installation might include:

  • Jacketed and graduated laboratory reactor, 2 litres
  • Cap with GL18 fittings - 29/32 cones - central flange for agitator
  • Agitator with TAA12 seal, motor 50-2200 rpm
  • Vapor riser with coil condenser
  • Droppers
  • 250 ml spherical collection flasks
  • 250 ml bypass bottle
  • 5 litres collection bottle
  • 250 ml graduated bottles for balance
  • Analytical balances
  • Peristaltic pump
  • Swagelok® valves and fittings
  • Burst disk
  • PT100 temperature probe
