The THO series thermo-oil temperature control units are designed for temperature regulation of reactors with jackets made of borosilicate glass, stainless steel, glass-lined steel, Hastelloy, and other alloys. They are equipped with an expansion vessel with a visual oil level indicator, safety level switch, safety thermostat, and safety valve with PID or PLC adjustment. The units are available in fixed or wheeled versions.
Each machine is equipped with a standardized circulation pump connected in series with the electric resistance group and connected to the suction line with an expansion vessel and a pressure balance valve. The control panel is available in IP 55 and/or ATEX versions.
Three standard versions are available for the temperature range of 200°C (model THO/B), 300°C (model THO), 350°C (model THO/A), and the THO/X/-R variant, which includes the installation of a cooling exchanger connected to a chiller, placed in bypass on the pump discharge and capable of regulating the temperature in a range between -25°C and the rating temperature of the control unit.
