Thermostatic baths

For liquid temperature control processes with borosilicate glass flasks and reactors.

BTF - BTA thermostatic baths are a compact, safe, and versatile solution for temperature regulation in borosilicate glass flasks and reactors ranging from 10 to 200 litres, with spherical or cylindrical geometry.

They are suitable for reaction or evaporation processes that require heating or cooling a substance while maintaining an extremely precise and controlled temperature value without the use of pressurized glass jackets. Equipped with an integrated circuit for circulating diathermic oil or other fluid, with a circulation pump and external cartridge electric heaters with a total power ranging from 3 to 9 kW; one/two separate coils in stainless steel or annealed copper, depending on the maximum required pressure, installed in the jacket, allow heating with steam or cooling with glycol.

Each machine is insulated with non-combustible, waterproof material suitable for operating at temperatures between -40 and 250°C and can be supplied with a control panel equipped with safety systems and locks, hot/cold adjustment with electronic instrumentation via PID microprocessor or PLC for more precise temperature control; the system is specifically designed to operate in ATEX environments with explosion risks for zone 1.
